Follow up

Just one more to get it off my chest a teeny bit.

It's shocking how little most really know, and the Zionists have always used this to their advantage, year after brutal year. It's easy to distort facts and manipulate people who are generally oblivious of their history. (Theodor Herzl would want it that way). Kinda like how few people are aware of what the Russians did to civilians of once-upon-a-time Chechnya. Conflict is not born out of nowhere, it is not created in a vacuum.

Quotes from the horses' mouths, as it were. I hope by sharing this, I am contributing 0.000000000000012% to the Palestinian cause.

Abroad we are accustomed to believe that Israel is almost empty, nothing is grown here, and that whoever wishes to buy land could come here and buy what his heart desires. In reality the situation is not like this. Throughout the country, it is difficult to find cultivable land which is not already cultivated.
-Achad Ha-Am

We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services, to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.
-David Ben-Gurion, 1948

How can we return the occupied territories? There is no-one to return them to.
-Golda Meir, 1969

There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed.
-Same lady, same year (Israeli PM then)

We shall reduce the Arab population to a community of woodcutters and waiters.
-Uri Lubrani, 1960

The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its existence, was only bluff, which was born and developed after the war.
-Matityahu Peled, general

If we thought that instead of 200 Palestinian fatalities, 2000 dead would put an end to fighting [...] we would use much more force.
-Ehud Barak, then PM, 2000

It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts which have been forgotten with time.
The first of these is there is no Zionism, no colonization, or Jewish state, without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands.
-Ariel Sharon, 1998
